About the Event

Fall Family Camping with Atlanta Area Council - Games and Activities, Scout Skills, STEM Activities, Arts & Crafts, Shooting Sports, Hay Maze.

  • Arrival is Friday evening and you should plan on feeding yourself Friday either before you arrive or a quick meal at camp.  The pack will provide breakfast and dinner on Saturday, but lunch/snack on Saturday is your own responsibility.  Breakfast on Sunday morning is "continental" based on what is left from the prior day.  Alternatively, you can eat on your way home.
  • Check-in begins at 5 pm on Friday evening.  You will be able to drive your car to the site, unload, then move your car to the designated parking area.
  • For Saturday arrivals, please be aware that you will not be able to drive your car on camp property during the hours of 9 am to 5 pm (when the program is going on).  This is for the safety of all participants as they move around the camp.  You can either (a) arrive early Saturday to drop off your gear at the campsite, (b) hike your gear to the campsite on foot, or (c) wait until after 5 pm to drive your gear to the campsite and then move your car back to a designated parking area.
  • Private shower facilities with running water and flushing toilets are featured throughout the camp

ALL campers, including adults, and youth (regardless of age) will need to bring a completed Medical Form Part A&B

  • We recommend filling this out electronically and saving the PDF to your computer. You can then print and bring the form with you.
  • Don't be intimidated by the form - it's no more difficult than new patient forms at a doctor's office.
  • Click here for Medical Form Part A&B

Please review the Cub Family Camping Guide (please review in advance!)

Please plan on helping out throughout the weekend, including keeping camp clean, cooking or serving meals, cleanup after meals, enforcing rules with kids, setup/cleanup of pack equipment, etc..  Teamwork makes the dream work!
